Neighborhood Boundaries, Maps & PlatsThe official street boundaries of Jackson Heights are:
Jackson Blvd is officially the only Jackson Heights street which meets Airport Blvd. Weatherford Avenue provides the northern boundary of Jackson Heights where it meets five streets between it and Airport Blvd. Four of these streets - Carnation, Larkspur, Thrift and Mayflower - comprise an area originally named Mayflower Hills. Jackson Drive was originally created as part of a two-street development called Jackson Estates. The JHAA considers the residents of these five streets as part of the JHAA, and for most intents and purposes, part of Jackson Heights itself. The neighborhoods bordering Jackson Heights to the east and west are not officially part of the JHAA, however, their residents are welcome to attend our meetings. These neighborhoods include Azalea Hills and Eau Claire Estates (the neighborhoods directly to the east, which occupy the right and left sides of Michael Blvd from Thornton Place to Azalea Road), as well as Government Street Highlands, the neighborhood which is adjacent to our western border and which is bounded by Airport Blvd and University Blvd.

| Original Plat of the Development (small) | This is a small version of the
original plat. It displays block and lot numbers, as well as lot
dimensions. It is more difficult to see small details on this
version but it is a relatively small file and quick to load. |
|
| Original Plat of the Development (large) | This is the full-size version of the original plat. It displays block and lot numbers, as well as lot dimensions. Note: This is a very large file and may take several minutes to download even with a broadband internet connection. |
If your browser is set to auto-resize photos, the large version of the original plat may appear smaller than it actually is when viewed in the browser. You may prefer to save the file to your computer and view it that way. Right-click the link above for the large version of the plat, and select "Save Target As..." then select a location on your computer where you want to save the image file. Then open it from the location on your computer where you saved it. It should open in your computer's default graphics program and you should be able to zoom in to see details up close and zoom out to see the whole map at once.
