Garbage Pickup
Garbage Day for the Jackson Heights area is every Tuesday morning.
Only city garbage containers may be used. To obtain a garbage
container, or for more information about refuse collection, consult the City
of Mobile website:

Trash Pickup
Trash Day for the Jackson Heights area is every other Friday morning.
Trash (aka "big trash") includes grass and other yard clippings,
boxes and any other large items which are not generally considered regular household garbage.

Recycling
There is no free recycling pickup in Mobile. If you want to recycle,
you have two options. You can take items to the Metro Recycling Center
yourself, or you can pay to have someone come pick it up for you.
Free drop-off at the Metro Recycling Center is at 1451 Government Street. More info can be found here: http://www.cityofmobile.org/recycle/.
